Honey, I Shrunk the Meat Grinder
November 2001
This monument is a rough collection of Alex's minimalist funny songs, recorded in two days no less. He birthed this album by taking from songs he already wrote, some from long ago ("Charlottes Web" was written in spring of 1998) and some improvised on the spot ("Who Got the Huh?"). Better than Some Girls by the Rollings. It features the cafe-friendly hits "How To Make A Fire," "Blowkiss" and the mighty "Bamama." It ended up kicking off a 7-month stint at Cafe Delirium in Gresham, OR where he sold quite a few copies there in winter of 2001-2002.
